Sherds Stamped with a lower Case d perhaps or is this a P, we think now that this is a lower case d and the sherds are from the Cicero Demosthenes Hudson Shop at Hickory Flat, Chambers County, the Sherds are Alkaline Glazed, if a d we would think this would be one of the Duncans that worked at Hickory Flat the Sherds would be Circa 1840-1850’s but if this is a P then maybe Presley’s family according to information from Joey Brackner’s Book on Alabama Folk Pottery
